Just providing an update here. It may not appear so on the surface, but it has been a rather productive May and early June for me. I have just finished updating and revising just about every main page on this website and made a few additions. Below, I have all of my plans for the summer and the foreseeable future laid out [and there's quite a bit]:

I’ve decided to restructure my blog a little bit more to make it look a lot more professional (read: less radical incoherence). As such, I have updated the theme (the name of it being the irony of all ironies: “White House”), caught up on reposting my videologs here, and updated several of the pages and general structure of the blog:
- About Page: This is the one substantial edit that I have not gotten around to doing, because it will be such a large task. I no longer like the style of the writing that I filled that page with, and plan to rewrite all of it in a more elegant and professional style. Additionally, I’d like to focus more on the role of emergence than that of explicit natural law. Expect a full re-write within a week.
- Publications: I have changed the “essays” page to “publications,” which list all of the works that I have had published in external publications. An interesting thing to note is it contains the titles of all the larger works that I am currently working on (essays, book ideas) and will post here. This latter portion essentially replaces the former “Pipeline” page.
- Resources: This is perhaps my favorite revision. I have worked diligently to catalog all of the resources that I wish to forward my readers to, and look forward to continuing it.
In terms of content, while they are fun to make and get instant feedback on YouTube, I want to substitute a few more written pieces in place of my videologs. At least, for the time being. I still have some videolog ideas that I can spin off within a matter of minutes just to fill some gaps, as well as continuing my primary project – “Understanding Economics” in videolog format. Expect to see some more written content posted here within the next two weeks – see the “Working Papers” section of “Publications” to see some of the larger works I plan to post here soon.
And as always, a great big thank you to everyone who reads and watches my content, whether you are silent or vocal about it. My stats don’t lie (at least I hope) – my viewership has greatly picked up this winter, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
